The Service Manager is a fundamental member of the team responsible for staying in contact with our service customers and answering various questions or concerns of existing customers. This role requires the individual to report directly to the Operations Manager.

Specific Duties:

 Field calls from customers, talk about post-installation service concerns, schedule technicians to visit site for troubleshooting issues, talk with customers regarding service visit costs and instruct Office Manager to perform billing for service calls.

Service Manager is responsible for instructing service technician locations and job duties, talking with manufacturers regarding warranty or RMA issues, following up on shipped material, creating a list of service customers to create additional business and oversee sole monitoring portal accounts.

Additional duties may be added in time as employee feels comfortable with position and various aspects of Service Manager position can also be delegated in time as position sees fit.

Compensation:

Applicants would be required to be full time, Monday through Friday, from 7:00am to 3:30pm. The position salary is $29-$42 an hour depending on experience.

General role: Reports to the Crew Leader

General Description: The Solar Installer at Cosmic Solar plays a support role in ensuring that all installations start and finish on time, on schedule, and done right the first time. He/she should be detailed oriented, have great work ethic and have positive and can-do attitude. Solar installers work with the Crew Leader to communicate with customers before starting their project on the day of installation, and during the time the job is progressing to ensure customer satisfaction and communication.

Specific Duties: Oversee client solar installations from start to finish. This includes:

• Installations: Make sure all installations are started and completed as planned and according to the approved plans and stamped plans/permits.
• Quality: Complete projects with 100% adherence to the highest standards of quality and workmanship.
• Safety: Personnel safely and compliance with applicable safety regulations.
• Inspections: Meet with the city and county inspectors directly or delegate to others to obtain the final inspection approvals and help resolve and remedy any corrections that may be issued.

Qualifications: Solar Installer position does not necessarily require any experience in the solar industry, but it's definitely helpful. At a minimum, should be very hands on and be able to operate basic tools. Be comfortable working on roofs and climbing ladders and be able to carry at least 50 pounds. Valid driver's license and clean driving record is a must. 

Pay scale: $20 - $40 an hour

General role: Reports to the Operations Manager

General Description of the Position:

The Solar Technician is a fundamental member of the installation/troubleshooting/monitoring team and responsible for restoring communication to all solar systems, as well as potentially troubleshooting solar issues with AC and DC systems. In this role requires the individual to report directly to the Operations Manager and record and submit progress reports on visits to customer sites.

Specific duties:

• Installing/troubleshooting SunPower, SolarEdge and Enphase monitoring systems in the field
• Maintaining all tools provided to you by Cosmic Solar
• Communicate supply and equipment issues to properly address all monitoring needs
• Track fleet monitoring systems and troubleshoot, if necessary
• Contact technical support hotlines and work troubleshooting steps on job sites
• Maintain regular communication with Operations Manager and Installation Teams
• Ensure a high level of workmanship with a positive attitude

Qualifications:

• Competent with hand tools and monitoring instruments, laptops
• Capable of managing multiple jobsites and working well with others
• Proficient at problem solving/troubleshooting skills
• Ability to manage software databases and CRMs
• Clean driving record and background check
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience working with solar monitoring and networking experience, if possible
• Over-achiever, track record of winning at whatever you put your mind to
• Excellent customer service skills required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required  

Pay scale: $20 - $40 an hour  

The Roofer is a fundamental member of the team and responsible for performing roofing services for solar and roof projects for our customers. This role requires the individual to report directly to the Roofing Foreman.

Specific duties:

• Perform a variety of residential and commercial roofing procedures and services to roof clients, including maintenance, repair, tear-offs, and roof replacements.
• Provide status updates to the Roofing Foreman on all current jobs.
• Maintaining all tools provided by Cosmic Solar.
• Ensure a high level of workmanship with a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

• Competent with hand tools and roofing equipment.
• Experience with shingles, flat roofs, concrete and clay tile and other roofing systems.
• Capable of managing multiple jobsites and working well with others.
• Proficient at problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
• Clean driving record and background check.
• 1 to 15 years of relevant experience working with roofing, if possible.
• Over-achiever, track record of winning at whatever you put your mind to.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required

Compensation:

Applicants will be required to full time from 6:30am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. Additional days and hours may be requested as employee becomes more comfortable with position. There are a number of additional office tasks that can be offered if desired as well to add more hours, if interested. The position starting salary is $20.00 to $40.00 an hour to start based on experience and there is room for growth.
