Bahram has a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering & Material Science from the University of Minnesota. His M.S. degree thesis dealt with the handling and treatment of radioactive waste from nuclear power plants. He spent many years as a process development engineer in computer disk manufacturing, semiconductors and manufacturing of flat panel displays. During his engineering career, he was also involved in the development of systems to treat and eliminate hazardous waste from these industries. He was also a champion of other environmental causes, advocating ways to lower greenhouse gases and to help eliminate ozone-depleting chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) from manufacturing processes, just to name a few. He is the author of four U.S. patents.
Over 18 years ago, Bahram decided to enter the field of high efficiency home remodeling. He obtained his general contracting license from the State of California along with a C-10 electrical license, a C-46 solar license, and most recently his C-39 Roofing license. Bahram is a passionate advocate and champion for alternative sources of energy, especially renewable solar energy.
Solar power is inexhaustible and can produce reliable electricity for homes and businesses. With zero emissions, solar energy will help protect our environment. During the past several years, Bahram has been designing photovoltaic (PV) solar systems and enjoying every minute of it. He has dedicated the rest of his life to the cause of solar energy. “I am truly satisfied,” he noted, “creating sustainable and renewable energy solutions that meet the expressed needs of our Cosmic Solar customers. This is the first time in my long career that I feel I have true job satisfaction!”
Bahram and Judith currently live in an all-electric home on a seven acre solar powered organic orchard. Their solar system powers their well pump and their electric cars. They have had no electric bills ever since they installed their PV system back in 2005.
Judith has her Bachelor of Science in Consumer Economics from the University of Minnesota and a Masters in Education. Judith and her husband Bahram have been business owners for eighteen years and she has championed solar technology for decades. She has worked with the Public Utilities, the California Center for Sustainable Energy, and CALSEIA, the California Solar & Storage Association. She is currently the Public Relations of the company.
Judith served eight years as Ambassador for the Valley Center Chamber of Commerce, is active in Vista Chamber of Commerce, is on the board of directors of the Valley Center Business Association and with her husband Bahram, is on the board of the Valley Center Fire Dept Foundation. A few of her involvements in Community projects include The Friends of Hellhole Canyon, Escondido Arts Partnership, The Star Theater, The Children’s Discover Museum, and the Alta Vista Botanical Gardens.
Judith is a very strong consumer advocate. She ensures Cosmic Solar & Roofing maintain their reputation for excellent customer service.
In 2010, Pey came to us with an extensive background in the health field. He studied nutrition at San Diego State and attended his internship at Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. Through his experience as a licensed dietitian and his clinical research dealing with heart disease prevention, he counseled his patients on how to stay healthy through diet and exercise.
Since then, Pey has designed, overseen and installed many, many thousands of solar systems for our clients and enjoyed every minute of it. As the solar energy industry has matured, storage batteries have become more mainstream and our client’s energy usage increased with more electric vehicles on the road, Pey’s dedication to our clients is contagious. “Watching our customers’ eyes light up when they first see their meter spin backwards or when they see their home loads powered when the utility grid is shut off is a beautiful thing,” he laughed. We wholeheartedly agree.
