Solar Panel Technician
General role: Reports to the Operations Manager
General Description of the Position:
The Solar Technician is a fundamental member of the installation/troubleshooting/monitoring team and responsible for restoring communication to all solar systems, as well as potentially troubleshooting solar issues with AC and DC systems. In this role requires the individual to report directly to the Operations Manager and record and submit progress reports on visits to customer sites.
Specific duties:
- Installing/troubleshooting SunPower, SolarEdge and Enphase monitoring systems in the field
- Maintaining all tools provided to you by Cosmic Solar
- Communicate supply and equipment issues to properly address all monitoring needs
- Track fleet monitoring systems and troubleshoot, if necessary
- Contact technical support hotlines and work troubleshooting steps on job sites
- Maintain regular communication with Operations Manager and Installation Teams
- Ensure a high level of workmanship with a positive attitude
Qualifications:
- Competent with hand tools and monitoring instruments, laptops
- Capable of managing multiple jobsites and working well with others
- Proficient at problem solving/troubleshooting skills
- Ability to manage software databases and CRMs
- Clean driving record and background check
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience working with solar monitoring and networking experience, if possible
- Over-achiever, track record of winning at whatever you put your mind to
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required
Pay scale: $20 - $40 an hour

Warehouse Manager
The Warehouse Manager is an important member of the team which includes receiving, warehousing operations and compliance with safety requirements. The warehouse manager responsible for determining inventory levels, receiving and sorting parts from the installation crews to sort and restock, cleaning, removing trash and recycling, assembling parts and accepting deliveries. Are you an experienced warehouse manager, familiar with receiving, ordering and inventory control who can work self-directed?
Specific Duties:
The warehouse manager responsible for determining inventory levels, receiving and sorting parts from the installation crews to sort and restock, remove trash and recycling, assemble parts and accepting deliveries.
Qualifications:
- A basic understanding of Excel-based receiving and stocking, warehouse organization, and inventory control.
- High school diploma encouraged.
- Able to lift 50 pounds and handle handcarts with loads of up to 1,500 pounds
- Valid Class D license (regular driver’s license).
- Clean background check and driving record – this will definitely be examined.
- Additional tasks may be added as seen fit.
Additional experience/expertise that will be an advantage:
- Experience in moving and/or reorganizing warehouses.
- Implementing new warehouse management technologies and systems.
Compensation:
- Applicants will be required to work Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm.
- Compensation will be an hourly range of $20 to $28 an hour, based on experience.
