You're not alone. With so many solar companies going out of business, homeowners across San Diego are finding themselves with "orphan systems" and no one to call for help. To ensure we can continue helping homeowners like you, we’ve created a streamlined intake process for all third-party solar service requests.
How It Works
Our goal is to resolve your solar system issue as efficiently as possible, starting with the very first visit. When you book a diagnostic appointment, here’s what you can expect:
- A 1-hour on-site service visit from one of our experienced solar technicians
- Immediate troubleshooting and repair if the issue can be safely and effectively fixed on the spot
- If the issue requires parts, follow-up work, or further inspection, we’ll provide a clear explanation of next steps, including an estimate for any additional service
Standard Service Charge: $250
This fee covers a one-hour visit within 30 miles of our headquarters.
Note: For homes located more than 30 miles away, an additional charge of $3 per mile will be added for the excess distance
Why We Require Upfront Payment
We’re receiving an overwhelming number of service calls for abandoned systems, and unfortunately, many of these don’t lead to actionable repairs or long-term customers. Requiring payment upfront helps us:
- Prioritize serious inquiries from homeowners ready to move forward
- Allocate technician time efficiently
- Continue offering high-quality service to our existing customers and the wider community
